Is this a good and effective Retinol serum?

Hi,

I use Loreal Revitalift Pure Retinol 2%, for two months and I cannot say there is a visible improvement on my skin and fine wrinkles.

So, I found another product, which is quite inexpensive, but I cannot decide wether it is effective enough or not. I would be grateful if you help :)

These are the ingredients:

Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Retinal, Panthenol, Propylene Glycol, Pentylene Glycol, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Ethylhexylglycerin, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol.

Judging from the ingredient list, yes, this can be an effective formula. The labeling of this product is very misleading though: I doesn't contain any retinol (but there is "2% retinol" in the product name). It contains another effective retinoid called retinal instead - but it makes you wonder why did the brand feel they need to lie with the "2% retinol" marketing. I hope the brand just has a misguided marketing team but their formulators know what they are doing? 🤷‍♀️
