Anyone have a good vitamin c serum recommendation for acne-prone skin & sensitive skin?

I have the dr.althea vitamin c serum and I have combo acne prone skin and I have not had any problems. It does have some fragrance so maybe if your skin is too sensitive to that maybe not. Im thinking of trying the numbuzin +5 serum after.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check it out!!! Hopefully if I decide to buy it my skin won't get irritated with the scent. I can deal with a little bit of scents

I have acne prone and sensitive skin that reddens easily, but I have always tolerated higher % Vit C very very well. But everyone's skin is different! I have used lots of Vit C serums over the years and the one I always come back to is the Timeless 20% with Ferulic. It's affordable but with the same important qualities like low pH and Ferulic that help it work better. (they also have a 10% if you want to start lower). I notice a huge improvement in my stubborn cystic acne, post-acne PIE, and skin tone very fast when I use it. Get the smaller bottle though because the formula does oxidize rather quickly, and once it turns orange it's no good anymore. I actually breakout and get irritated if I use it after it oxidizes. So use Vit C on your neck, arms, etc to get the most out of your bottle before it oxidizes!

Don't it have to be stored just right too? I've seen advice on refrigerating and then advice saying not to .. id like to know that answer cause I like it cold lol ... But I've read it can be unstable if stored wrong .. how much of a concern is that ?

Look into Skinceuticals. They’re notorious for working with any skin. Very pure high quality product. I am very sensitive and acne prone and I actually work well with Mario badescu. It is less expensive and does not break me out. Fantastic stuff

Klairs Freshly juiced Vitamin Drop (LAAA5%) and Freshly Juiced Vitamin Charging Serum (LAAA derivative 10%), both are worth trying. I'm in my late 30s and still using them. Charging serum, the new one, is better for product stability.

Eva naturals vitamin c+ serum is a game changer

I also have a blemished and sensitive skin & regular vitamin C products with ascorbic acid products have proven to be too harsh for my skin.

I am now using The Ordinary Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F , which has a high dosis of 20% tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate instead of l-ascorbic acid. It is a lipid soluble form of vitamin C with a higher pH, which makes it in general better fit for sensitive skin. And it does work for me :-)

I like the Mad Hippie Vitamin C serum. Reasonably priced and the Vitamin C derivative it uses is good for acne too!

i use the timeless vit c, its very affordable and all the ingredients are non-comedogenic, i did experience some irritation in the begging but i just diluted it with any other serum, but now i use it alone with full concentration20% without irritation

hope that helps^^
