Is beta arbutin safe during pregnancy?

It is recommended to avoid hydroquinone during pregnancy since it absorbs into the skin. As prevention, Alpha Arbutin is also recommended to avoid. However, noting is said about Beta Arbutin. Does Beta Arbutin has the same potential harm as Alpha Arbutin and Hydroquinone?
