Hi there. I'd like to incorporate a vitamin c serum into my regime. With as little irritation as possible. For a product to work as an antioxidant and brightener, do I need Ferulic AND ascorbic? Or am I good with just ferulic ? Thank you

I've done some research. And the L ascorbic can be way too strong. Something I've learnt from this website is that inflammation is avoidable. Actives themselves can be aging. So I've researched and found that The Ordinary do a great product. The Ordinary Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin.
It's on the low end for inflammation. The ingredients are said to still be efficacious. My Mom has already used it and loved it. So I just thought I'd update my question with my own research. 😊
