Retinal body products?

Does anyone know of any retinal products for the body? I've been using 1% retinol on the body, but since I'm in the EU which will soon limit retinol in body products to 0.05% and to 0.3% in face products, I'm forced to look for new options. Unfortunately I haven't yet come across any retinal products for the body, and retinal face products are just too expensive relative to the size to be used all over the body... Any and all recommendations would be very much appreciated, as google has not been helpful.

(I know that granactive retinoid and retinyl retinoate are also outside the scope of the new EU limits, but I'd prefer products with retinal since it's backed up by more evidence.)

I personally love the Gold Bond Age Renew retinol! It only has about 0.4% retinol according to WIMJ but it has a lot of other helpful ingredients like niacinamide, squalene, urea, cocoa and shea butters, ceramides, vitamin E, etc. My mom also uses it and it’s helped a lot with crepey skin. Plus it’s super affordable! 😁

On the cheaper end
Gold Bond AGE RENEW RETINOL OVERNIGHT BODY & FACE LOTION

for a bit more
Versed Skin Press Restart Gentle Retinol Body Lotion

Hopefully either of these are available to you.

I know there is a transition phase, meaning the higher percetange product will only disappear around year 2026. So I think by the time it's 2026 a lot of producers will reformulate their products to have retinal instead, just gotta wait a bit :)

Oh I had no idea that the transition period was that long, that's wonderful to hear! Fingers crossed for more alternatives by then :)

Versed has a retinol body lotion and it’s .1%. I personally have not used it but learned about it from Doctorly on YouTube. Hope it’s what you’re looking for.
