SPF indoors

Hi! I have read in several sources that it is essential to wear sunscreen even indoors because the windows don't block UVA rays. This seems a bit of an overkill to me. Is it really necessary? If I work the whole day in home office in quite a dark room, I suppose it is ok not to use a suscreen?

Lab muffin has an excellent video about this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUIWZcwflx4 (I also highly recommend her other sunscreen related videos - or actually just all her videos in general).

to be honest i love skincare and while i know you’re meant to reapply sunscreen every 2-4 hours i don’t. because when you think about it while you’re outside there’s only going to be a few peak hours of uv and most of the time you’ll be out of the sun. i apply this logic to indoors. if i’m going to have very minimal sun exposure i don’t bother since it’s a waste of product.

unless you’re very troubled about wrinkles i wouldn’t bother with wearing sunscreen. even if you concerned with acne marks mine have faded within a month or so doing this.
