Room For Improvement

I'd love to hear feedback on what I can do to improve my efforts towards anti-aging and attacking fine lines and wrinkles as well as sagging skin along my jaw line and neck. If these too are your concerns, what have you used that has proven effective?

Thank you much!

You might want to look at the 'honesty check' of the products you're using. I haven't looked at them all, but they seem pretty expensive, while not delivering on their promises.

Do you use a daily SPF? I think that is a major thing when it comes to anti-aging and overall skin health!

If you want to know what ingredients you need to look for, you can check the skin guide in the menu to the left and select anti-aging. My skin doesn't handle retinoids well, but I'm using vitamin C (AM) and niacinamide (PM) and a daily SPF. My fine lines have been less noticable and my skin looks less dull! The products I'm using are not that expensive, so you don't need to break the bank to have an effective routine!

Thank you for your thoughtful reply Jackie. In truth, I do not use a daily SPF. I have olive skin tone and didn't think I needed it much as I don't burn or the like. I know that sounds awful but that has been my honest thinking.

I am new here. Could you tell me what the little green circle with a check means when you see it next to a product?

Also, is there a way to search for, let's say, the most effective anti-aging eye cream?

You might want to rethink your opinion on SPF! Even blue light from screens is bad for your skin and can age you prematurely. You might not need a SPF 50 every day, but at least SPF 30. (most sunscreens can double as a moisturiser - most have extra ingrediënts that are good for the skin, like HA or niacinamide)

I'm not sure what green circle you're referring to. It might be the honesty score (if there is a number in it) - can you make a screencap?

You can search with 'Discover Products' in the menu to the left. You can select a category of products and use the filter to the right to narrow your results. For an eye cream, you'd select 'eye area products' and then use the skin benefits filter on 'anti-aging'. I see CeraVe has a good eye cream, or Beauty of Joseon, if you want a cruelty free option.

I have concerns of wrinkles, fine lines and pigmentation. I use a Vitamin C during the day followed by a moisturiser and a sunscreen. The evening I use Retinal and a moisturiser. Don't go without a sunscreen, I use a SPF50, If you don't, then you are undoing all your work. One step forward , two steps back. I have moved from Retinol products to Retinal, and haven't had any problems. I have slowly worked my way up so as not to scare my skin. Beauty of Joseon Retinal eye cream is gentle but effective.

Might try retinal then as well, even with a low dose of retinol I get vey sensitive.

Hello! I recommend a tretinoin cream, as it's the strongest working retinoid. I have very reactive and sensitive skin but it's not giving me problems. If anti-age is your focus, I recommend it! When using it, never forget spf 50 or higher throughout the day.

If you're worried about skin reactions, I've heard only good about the SOME BY MI - Retinol Intense Reactivating Serum, it's supposed to be really gentle on the skin, should be great
