is p-anisic acid a fragrance??? the ordinary is soon releasing a serum (that i really want to try) that contains this ingredient. i have sensitive skin, so prefer to use products which have no fragrance. the ordinary never formulate products with fragrance, so it would be surprising that they used it in their newest product if p-anisic acid is a fragrance, and it would be quite disappointing considering that fact that i love the ordinary for their fragrance-free formulas. thank you!

This ingredient is used mostly as a preservative, and it can also work as a fragrance (to neutralize the smell of other ingredients). It can be irritating or allergenic unfortunately...
