Thank you very much
I have mature combo dry/oily skin with melasma, adult acne, and redness. I use azelaic acid gel & tretinoin cream in my daily routine. These two medications leave my skin very dry. I’ve found the only gentle cleanser that will work for me is Johnson and Johnson Head to Toe Baby Wash and Shampoo. It doesn’t leave my skin dry or tight. I also use it as my only cleanser to double cleanse my face with.
I’m not a doctor. As always, check with your doctor in case you have other concerns that may be causing you problems like allergies or other medications you’re taking that might be causing you side effects. Good luck!

-Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil, It might be more expensive depending on where you live, it's a massive bottle though. It's anti itch, soothing and has cer-omega which is a combination of ceramides, omega6 and Sterols. It's a French oil so not your typical cleansing oil, it feels just like a cleanser. (I got some samples of this so I'm currently trying it out)
-La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser, it has ceramides, niacinamide and antioxidants to help protect skin cells from damage
-Cerave hydrating cleanser, it's a lot more budget friendly, has hyaluronic acid and ceramides. It's very much a go-to cleanser for a lot of people
You're on tret so ceramides are a key ingredient to be using (Ceramides are also the building blocks of our skin, they can give you plumper, smoother skin with less fine lines), these are all ones I've seen recommended by dermatologists - Dr Dray has an excellent video on cleansers and can explain the ingredients really well
I have heard so many good things about La Roche-Posay and that cleanser was actually on my mind but I wanted to get some suggestions from this site first because it is so informative. Thank you very much.

Hi,
I use One love organics, “easy does it”. It’s a gel formula and it gets all my spf, foundation and mascara off. I usually double cleanse with their oil cleanser first.
In the mornings I use Kinship, papaya cleanser. It’s a gentle cream cleanser. Leaves skin soft and smells great.
All these products are “clean” and non toxic. Hope this helps.
Geek and Gorgeous Jelly Joker is the best cleanser on this planet, it’s also perfect for sensitive skin! Non comedogenic as well
Believe it or not, Dove soap for sensitive skin is very effective, gentle (for me), and affordable. First Aid Beauty is also good, but more expensive.
I would get the hydrating cleanser from Cerave. That seems to be the gold standard gentle cleanser recommendation from dermatologists.
La Roche Posay is another good option.
Like jadeeyed, I've also used Johnson & Johnson Head to Toe Baby Wash and Shampoo for years. Unfortunately, it's become hard to find and also ridiculously expensive when I do manage to find it. So, I recently switched over to Cetaphil Baby Shampoo and Body Wash with Organic Calendula...
I use it every morning and night with no problems.
I would recommend the Krave beauty matcha hydrating cleanser, super gentle!
