Is this a Lactic-acid producing bacteria?

I have Seb. Dermatitis and I am finding ferments that are safe for me. I am hoping this is one of them! lactic-acid producing bacteria should be completely fine and won’t affect malassezia. -simpleskincarescience

hello! 👋 You don't find alive lactic-acid producing bacteria in skincare products... The ingredient you linked is a ginseng root extract, I don't believe it has any special effect on skin microbiome (if anything, it actually can have anti-bacterial properties)

I'm mostly asking about its extraction process when it's being chemically formulated, a lot of ferments are 'cut' with other things, lactic acid being one of them. Ferments are technically live, so they have to be safe producing bacteria or it will trigger my fungal acne condition. I should probably just ask the manufacturer, since they would know deeper into it chemically.

Yes, unfortunately there is no way to know the production details just from an ingredient name on the label, so only the manufacturer would be able to tell
