I'm so shocked to read this. But happy.

I'd read up on this previously and had believed that when taking collagen supplements the internal organs, connective tissue, muscles etc use the collagen first, and what's left for skin and hair is negligible. Thank you for sharing the research.

Honestly, I was surprised myself. Of course, not everything is clear in what exact skin benefits (how much impact?) one can expect from collagen supplements, but the fact that all high-quality studies report at least some degree of a positive outcome is already something

I'm more of a skeptical type too but after reading some reviews I'm positive that collagen supplementation does something positive to the skin. Surely, there're gaps in the knowledge with regard to how long the effect lasts, what are consequences of long-term supplementation etc. I'm also still trying to figure out how much should I be willing to spend on collagen supplements?

Collagen supplements intake are being digested and say goodbye to your body when you pee. Like vitamin B complex gives you yellow pee. Don't really know how much collagen is left inside your body to be absorb by your skin. If you're hoping to see visible impact on your face, I mean you really can see the improvements with own eyes. Go for skin treatment by the machine in clinic. There are tons of new technology focus on different skin issues out there.
