Hi! So I've used both (and still own both). I have oily acne prone skin. Use the acne foaming version if you have constant acne. Use the regular foaming version if you just have generally oily skin or don't need/want to add salicylic acid to your face wash step.
Both are fine and work for oily skin. Its just what you prefer. I personally switch back and forth between both depending on how bad my skin is at the moment. But generally when my acne goes away I go back to the regular foaming version.
If you're a teenager then just go for the acne version. Just don't scrub your eyes with it. It might sting. Use a seperate makeup removing balm beforehand to remove makeup. (2 step cleansing if you use makeup)
