I've read and heard conflicting things online about the risks of using products with retinol while breastfeeding, wondering if people here had any thoughts?

I think I have to be boring and start with a disclaimer: if you are worried about something baby-health-related, it’s best to consult a doctor.
I personally used topical retinoids throughout my pregnancy. I carefully looked into studies available and actually found confirmation that topical retinoids used in the concentrations of skincare products on a limited area of the body (face) pose no risk for my baby. I’m not a doctor so I don’t want to advise you on this, just sharing my personal conclusion.

Hi, check out Caroline Hirons (Skin care guru). She says there are no issues using retinol while breastfeeding.
