Need advice please ?!

I’ve been using Josie Maran skincare for a few years and it makes my skin soft but that’s about it and after coming on this website and finding out that all the stuff I was using had terrible ratings I’m not gonna use it anymore. People keep saying and raving how great Cerave is and it works great. And it has good ratings here. Many people say that you don’t need to spend a bunch of money on skincare and your just paying for the packaging. Any advice I would really appreciate. Thanks !!
