do I have to change my routine?

I am trying to target various things at the same time. I am 39 and a half years old. I'm suspecting I am perimenopausal because I had an acne breakout (the last time I had a severe one was when I was 18 years old) and a melasma appeared on my forehead. I forgot to put sunscreen on my profile but I am using one from Isdin. I need help to build a routine.

Just wanted to double-check: do you use the Paula’s choice AHA 10% every day?

I'm affraid of mixing the acids, so I am using the azelaic acid on my forehead, because of the melasma. The AHA I am using on the rest of my face, wher I have some post inflammatory erithemas and some closed comedones.

I used them everyday.

AHA 10% is way to strong for daily use, especially if you are suffering from melasma.

Azelaic acid is not really an exfoliating acid, you can use it all over the face in high concentration daily.

I’d recommend not to use micellar water in the morning. At night, also only once cleanser is enough, it’s best to avoid double-cleansing.

What do you sugest I use in the morning instead of micellar water? Do think double cleansing ultimately makes the face more oily? Thank you so much

Is it working? My only comment is I think skincare specialists usually say to use Aha and other exfoliating acids at night. (Just going by what I've seen online.) But if you were to move it to the night, you wouldn't be able to use it on the same day as retinol just fyi.

I just started doing this routine, so I can't say much about it... I saw a lot of you tube videos and these were the products I thought would be best for my skin at this moment. Thank you
