What can I add to improve this. please?
Oops, sorry, I've confused your Revolution Vitamin C serum with another product. The concentration of ascorbic acid in your product is good, but the problem is the essential oils in it - it greatly increases the chance of irritation and is not a good idea when your goal is bright, even-toned skin (irritation can result in pigmentation issues). Apologies for the confusion!
Thank you very much for your helpful feedback & recommendations, Maria. I'm 56, so I need all the help I can get on the anti-ageing front! I have been a loyal user of The Ordinary for many years, until I happened by chance upon this website, thank goodness. Searched my products & realised they weren't as good as claimed. After using your website I've made a few changes, thank you once again
No.1: broad spectrum sunscreen SPF 30 or higher in the AM (this is a real skincare game changer).
I'd also recommend to upgrade your vitamin C serum. The current one contains a relatively small concentration of the ascorbic acid. Better options:

Also you have retinol as the main active in both of your PM products. The serum contains 1% of retinol, and it is the highest concentration available (and also you probably don't really want to go higher because of the irritation risk). So I won't repurchase the Retinol Overnight cream, and go for a moisturizer with other actives instead (niacinamide and peptides would be good candidates). For example:
