Product summary

We do not recommend "Ph. Drop - Plagentra Baby Suncity Sunscreen Cream SPF 36 - Natural Sunblock Formulated for Newborn and Infant - 2.11 Ounce" because it does not provide good UVA protection. UVA sun rays don't burn the skin, but they still lead to photoaging and hyperpigmentation.

Its formula is also hydrating, so you might not need an additional moistruizer during the day.

Sunscreen filters

This is a "mixed" sunscreen in the sense that it uses both mineral and organic (so-called "chemical") sun filters. The organic filters in the product are: octinoxate, octisalate and amiloxate. As for the mineral filters, this sunscreen uses titanium dioxide.

There are some common irritants in this product, including ingredients that do not have benefits for the skin. We assess the overall irritancy of it to be high. For a detailed overview of all potential irritants: click here
